WHYC Guest Services Information

Moorings: Guest moorings are available to members of any bona fide yacht club on a first-come-first-serve basis. No advance reservations are accepted at any time. Each mooring is $55.00 per night, and includes launch service and use of the bar, restaurant, and shower facilities. Check out time is 9:00 AM. Rafting of two boats on the outer transient mooring is allowed, but please check with our Launch Office first.

Check In: You may contact us for mooring assignment on VHF channel 10 as you enter the channel from Stonington, CT, and be sure to fly your Club Burgee. Your yacht club card must be shown for use at the bar or restaurant. Since we do not accept advance reservations, boats requesting additional moorings should contact our Launch Office as soon as they enter the channel.

Club Services

Launch Service: 8:00 AM to Sunset and 8:00 AM to 10 PM on weekends in July and August-please use VHF 10 or 3 short blasts on the horn.. Please call the Club for Sept-Oct. hours.

Shower and Toilet Facilities: Available 8 AM to sunset, and are located inside near the Launch Office and outside on the NW end of the dock.

Miscellaneous: With prior permission, it is possible to come alongside and take on water or load / unload passengers; but only for a short time period. Soft drinks are located inside near the Launch Office. Ice is available at the Town Dock. Trash and recycling containers are located on the east side of the dock and near the Launch Office. Note: minors under 21 are not allowed on the upper deck unless accompanied by an adult. No dogs or other pets allowed.

Dining

Lunch: Noon to 2:00 PM Tue, Thu, Fri, & Sat. in July and August; reservations not required but suggested.

Dinner: 6:30-8:30 PM Tue., Thu., Fri., Sat.; reservations are not accepted until 4:00 PM the day of arrival, and due to our limited facilities, parties must be restricted to 6 or fewer adults.

Bar: Beverage service is available Noon to 10 PM every day from June 24 though Labor Day.

Attire: Proper attire is required at all times; jackets are required for dinner; at all other times shirts with collars and Bermuda shorts are permissible; women are asked to please dress accordingly.

Note: SMOKING IS PROHIBITED in Dining and Bar Area, and is permitted only on the Lower Deck
