Breeze On!

Juniors
It's time to put away those heavy winter coats... say goodbye to dreary winter weather... and say hello to SUMMER! We are very excited that the 2021 Sailing Season is just around the corner. We are looking forward to a fun sailing season, filled with new instructors, new classroom opportunities, and the return of all your smiling faces! We are pleased to extend an invitation to all our Watch Hill Yacht Club members as well as sponsored guests, to learn the fundamentals of sailing. The mission of the Watch Hill Yacht Club Junior Sailing Program is to cultivate a lifelong passion and appreciation for the best sport in the world.

The Watch Hill Yacht Club offers a variety of sailing classes, over the course of two 4-week sessions: July and August. Below, please find a complete list of classes, which will be offered for the 2021 Season. We foresee that Covid precautions will still be in effect during the Summer Season. The WHYC will continue to closely monitor Local, State, ECSA, OEC, DEM and CDC requirements over the next few months, for the most up to date guidelines and restrictions. Subsequently, the classes we are allowed to host may be subjected to change, as we get closer to Summer. Please visit Program Details for general program information and an in-depth program description of each class, in order to find the best possible program match. Please note: once a class has reached capacity, a Waitlist will be implemented. We strongly recommend registering early, to ensure placement in your desired program.

To become a part of the WHYC Sailing Community for Summer 2021, please enroll online today! Registrations can ONLY be accepted through online submission. To join the Junior Sailing Program (for students ages 8-18), please click here.

If you are unable to register online, have a question pertaining to enrollment, or are experiencing technical trouble, please contact us at 401-326-2007 or whycjrsailing@gmail.com.

OPTI I: 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM (2 HOUR CLASS)
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
